As we all know, welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and challenger Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson will have a rematch at UFC 209 on March 4. Promotion for the event has already began as tickets oficially go on sale today January 20th.
Both men made an appearance on UFC Tonight on Fox to talk about the fight. In one of the friendliest rivalries ever, Stephen and Tyron agreed to play charades as a team. Their opponents were Kenny Florian and Daniel Cormier. The results were hilarious and it is safe to say ‘Wonderboy’ was probably never really good at guessing.
The goal of the game was to mimic UFC fighter who are currently active on the roster. Kenny Florian was the first to act and champion Cormier guessed all 3 fighters, with a little help from their partner Karyn Bryant. Then it was turn for Woodley and truth be told, he did a pretty good job mimicking Demetrious Johnson, ‘Wonderboy’ simply had no idea what was going on.
In the second round, Cormier and Kenny had 3 very easy fighters to guess and ended up being helped by Bryant once again. Then it was turn for ‘Wonderboy’ to take the center of the stage and after struggling to make Woodley guess Lyoto Machida he nailed Conor McGregor and a surprise fighter that actually joined the stage afterwards.
