After almost a month in hiding to lick her wounds in peace following her devastating loss to UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes, Ronda Rousey was finally spotted in public since her loss at UFC 207. According to TMZ, the former Olympian came out of the shadows to apply for a concealed carry permit at Range 702, a Las Vegas gun store.
Ronda and her boyfriend -fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne were seen on Sunday during her visit to the local gun store, where according to witnesses Rousey took a special course required to apply for a concealed carry permit. The process usually takes about 90 days, so in case Ronda is cleared she will be receiving her card in the mail around April.
During her visit at the range, the couple also did some shooting practice which is also part of the requirements to get the permit. However, she will have to be patient as the law requires her to wait for 90 days while they run a background check on her to make sure she is not a criminal and make sure that she can adequately handle the weapon.
