The action of UFC Houston began on Fight Pass with Khalil Rountree and Daniel Jolly in their light heavyweight bout that lasted less than one minute. Jolly had the crowd’s support as he’s a Texas native and was trying to make up for losing in his debut in August 2015.
However, Khalil Rountree had other plans, maybe dinner plans, as he came out determined to finish the fight early. Rountree landed a brutal knee while Jolly was struggling to get back to his feet. Rountree landed one more knee to the chest to make the referee intervene and finish the bout.
