It is not everyday that you see a fighter like Tito Ortiz in the cage. He has been in the sport for two decades and made his MMA debut in the UFC. Facing the best fighters in the world is all Ortiz has ever known. He has had arguably the toughest career out of any fighter as he has pushed his body over the limit multiple times and has came back after back and neck surgery.
It was a great way for Tito Ortiz to retire by beating Chael Sonnen by submission in the first round. The announcer called it a rear-naked choke, but it was more like a neck-crank. Ortiz has had very under-rated jiu-jitsu over the years, but his main preference was to take people down and smash them.
On the next page, Ortiz announces his retirement and leaves his gloves in the cage as a form of saying goodbye to the sport and also to his fans. His career was nothing short of sensational.
