This Thursday was the Pre-fight Press Conference for UFC 205 starring Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez. Dana White appeared with five of the six fighters fighting for a belt on Saturday. Can you guess who wasn’t there on time? You’re right, Conor McGregor.
After a few questions that started to annoy Dana about McGregor’s absence, the lightweight champion, Eddie Alvarez decided it was his moment. He provoked the Irish fans then left the stage:
“I’m disappointed in the country of Ireland right now that this is your representative. This is your representative. Where is he? You know what, I don’t even have an opponent. I’ll see you guys tomorrow. When he comes you give me a call.”
A few minutes later, Conor McGregor appeared prancing around in a white mink coat. He then went straight to Eddie’s empty seat and took the unattended belt. After that, he grabbed the microphone and said:
“Sorry I’m late I just don’t give a f**k!”
