Video: Conor McGregor Sends A Message To Georges St-Pierre And The MMAAA

On November 30, 2016 during a press call with Tim Kennedy, Cain Velasquez, Georges St-Pierre, TJ Dillashaw, Donald Cerrone and former Bellator presiden Bjorn Rebney was announced the birth of the Mixed Martial Arts Athletes Association (MMAAA).

An organization created to help fighters get better benefits and receive a bigger percentage of the profits generated by the promoters. Other goals are to make sure that injured fighters receive a payment while they recover, and develop a pension program so that every fighter can retire peacefully when their comes, instead of fighting too long just because they need money.

Georges St-Pierre tried to get Conor McGregor involved but failed to get an answer… until now. In November GSP said that even though McGregor is the best paid athlete in MMA he still doesn’t get paid his proper share, so he appealed to Conor’s good heart and bravery to try to get him on board.

McGregor didn’t beat around the bush and made it clear he doesn’t believe GSP was being sincere about his real intentions.

“The only reason you are standing in the middle of that union is because you couldn’t get the deal you want. You’re the fakest of everyone up there.”
