Former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos is now making a big shift in his career as he is now moving up to welterweight. At 32 years of age, it is not as easy as it once was for Dos Anjos to make it to lightweight. He feels that in his last two fights, he just did not feel the same way that he used to.
Dos Anjos is arguably one of the greatest lightweights ever with big wins over Anthony Pettis, Donald Cerrone and Nate Diaz. He came into the division by losing 2 fights in a row and then eventually ended up being the champion after some ups and downs and then a long winning streak. Dos Anjos feels that at welterweight he will be able to perform to his fullest potential and wants to start out with a bang by calling out 2 big name welterweights to start off.
On the next couple of pages, the two welterweights that Dos Anjos called out will be revealed.
