Miesha Tate announced last Saturday at UFC 205 that she is now retired. Remembering her career highlights is important at times like this. When the going got tough, Tate kept going and got even stronger. Tate once lightened things up by doing the ‘Running Man’ dance with Paige VanZant and Bruce Buffer
Even though Tate lost to Raquel Pennington, she triumphed over a lot of tough opponents and quite a few of them were comeback victories. Tate truly had the heart of a champion and was able to overcome adversity over and over again. Her career was a lot like the UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin’ career. The reason for Tate being like Griffin is because even though Tate wasn’t the most talented in the division, but she always had the most fight in her.
Tate’s career is rather inspiring. Many would have thought that she would have retired after her 2nd loss to Ronda Rousey, but she continued to press forward. She bounced back from losses and became better and eventually was the champion. She beat Holly Holm and Holm was the person that took out Tate’s former foe in Rousey.
As well as being a great fighter, Tate has always been known as one of the most gorgeous female MMA fighters in the game. Her lovely smile, luscious lips, amazing curves and long hair have kept Tate in the headlines for a long time.
