What started like a wild dream or a bad joke for many people has quickly evolved into a real possibility during the last few months. Today Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr., were reported to have a meeting to finalize the details and sign their millionaire agreement.
Many fas remain skeptical and doubt the fight will ever take place, and continue to claim is just a publicity stunt. Meanwhile, as reported yesterday, McGregor arrived to Las Vegas to meet with the NSAC as well as with Floyd Mayweather and finally with the UFC.
Although it is still difficult to know if the fight will ever happen, what is undeniable is that it is much closer to happening than ever before. The biggest hurdle might be the UFC, who feel they deserve a piece of the action since Conor is still under contract. This morning reporter Ariel Helwani tweeted about McGregor’s agenda for the day.
McGregor's plan has been: meet with NAC to clear issue, then TMT, then UFC. That's what's going on now. Early stages of that plan.
