Female MMA Fighter Forced To Do An Inappropriate Photo Shoot Wins Lawsuit

Korean female MMA fighter Song Ga Yeon just gave an interview published on Maxim online in which she states that Jung Mun Hong, president of Road FC (Korea’s biggest mixed martial arts promotion) forced her to pose for a semi-nude photo shoot, made inappropriate enquiries about her private life and damaged her reputation.

In reference to the photo shoot, the fighter claims she was “forced to wear only a thong and to place a pad on her breasts.”

She also told Maxim that Jung had abused her verbally on a regular basis, and treated her as “mentally challenged” in front of other members of Road FC. She also said that Jung used her romantic relationship with coach Seo Doo Won to make questions about her sex life. Additionally, the fighter claims her reputation was damaged because Jung spread hurtful information in the media claiming that Doo Won had raped her.

When questioned about the fact that she is just now mentioning what happened, she explained that it was because the legal process was open. It began shortly after she informed Jung that she would leave his company in January 2015 and she finally won the lawsuit against Road FC in December 2016.
