President Donald Trump has been very clear regarding his stance on granting visas to citizens of certain countries. Although the restrictions are not in full effect as he envisioned them in his mind, some people claim they might have already started having repercusions in the UFC.
According to a report by Karim Zidan of Bloody Elbow a Russian news website (life.ru) has confirmed that Nurmagomedov’s father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov and one of Khabib’s cousins, Frodo Khasbulaev were denied visas.

Before what could be the biggest fight in Khabib’s career, the fighter has had to deal with this situation that many believe could be affecting his concentration. Khabib himself has addressed the issue on The MMA Hour:
“He has a little bit problem, they cancel his visa. I don’t understand why, but they have a little bit problem about visa.”
