For over a year, Dana White has been talking to Georges St-Pierre about coming back to the UFC, but it never seemed to work out because of one thing or another. St-Pierre has been doing a lot of things outside of the UFC and does not seem ‘desperate’ to come back any time soon. St-Pierre mentioned that he wants it to be worth it financially for the risk he is taking and he is not willing to fight for peanuts.
Of course somebody like Conor McGregor is something that would interest anyone when it comes to MMA because they know that it will be a guaranteed pay-day. On the next page, White talks about how things have improved with getting St-Pierre back and how long they have been trying to negotiate with him. It is certain that White has a headache over this, but it will end up paying off if the UFC is able to get GSP back.
