Earlier this month, Derrick ‘The Black Beast’ Lewis knocked out Travis Browne at UFC Fight Night 105 and extended his winning streak to five. Besides his now famous comments about Ronda Rousey, Lewis made one relevant statement during his octagon interview: he mentioned he needed time off from all the training and sex he was getting.
But although his statement about taking some time off, he also said during the post-fight interview that he had one opponent in mind for whenever he came back: Mark ‘The Super Samoan’ Hunt.
However, in this week’s episode of The MMA Hour, Lewis was asked about the possibility of accepting a different fight and he was actually pretty open to doing it, just because “America likes black on black crime”. He did insist on wanting to fight veteran Mark Hunt for considering him a more challenging fight, but was also willing to accept a different fight.
