Conor McGregor is the biggest star in MMA right now, and maybe ever. McGregor sells more PPV than basically the rest of the roster combined. People love to know what the Irishman is up to, love him or hate him, everyone pays attention to ‘The Notorious’.
Conor knows that and makes the most of it, which is why he is doing “An Experience with Conor McGregor” tonight and selling PPV to watch Ariel Helwani interview him infront of an audience of 5,000 people at Eventcity in Manchester, England.
McGregor openly shows is disregard for the company that made him a star. Conor didn’t care the UFC has a free event to watch on Fox/Fightpass at the same time of his PPV interview. He even went a step further and took a shot at the promotion by claiming that his interview will be watched by more people than the UFC event. The saddest part for the sport is that he’s probably right.
