It’s not a secret that bantamweight champion Cody ‘No Love’ Garbrandt genuinely dislikes T.J. Dillashaw. Filming The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption alongside him seems to have made matters worse.
Once training partners now waiting for July 7 to fight for the UFC bantamweight title, Garbrandt and Dillashaw are spending more time together than what they would like. Since training at Team Alpha Male Garbrandt has always said they were never friends and that he always felt a weird vibe from T.J., this week he talked about that and what is going on during filming in an interview with MMA Fighting.
“I take it as just me being real, just confronting problems. That’s what I think fake people don’t do. That’s T.J. He’s the fakest person I ever met. From the beginning. He’s trying to play the victim on the show, he’s trying to be the nice guy. I already know who T.J. is.”
“He’s going in there and saying Danny Castillo and Justin Buchholz are his best friends, but where are they? They’re on my team. They’re with me. We won the world championship together.”
