CM Punk Releases Statement On Trying To Get A 2nd Fight In The UFC

He tried to come into the UFC with no experience, but it did not work as well for him as he thought it would. CM Punk was submitted in the first round with ease by Mickey Gall. CM Punk has now released a statement about he wants a 2nd try in the UFC.

In his UFC debut, CM Punk felt like he did not showcase what he was capable of at UFC 203. He did not land 1 strike, attempt any takedowns or submissions and was caught off-guard.

To the fans of the UFC, CM Punk was a mockery of professionalism and a side-show. Many feel he did not belong in their in the first place. CM Punk was able to get an idea what it took to become a MMA fighter. It is not easy at all and it comes with a lot of sacrifice. CM Punk does not want all that hard work to just be for a quick fight that he lost, he wants another try.

Dana White has mentioned in interviews that the fight with Gall was most likely CM Punk’s last fight in the UFC. CM Punk is still not released though.

As shown above, CM Punk was simply outclassed by Gall, but he still wants that 2nd chance. CM Punk’s direct words are on the next page.
