The world knows what happened at UFC 207 where Ronda Rousey got completely destroyed within a minute by the lethal striking of bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. Rousey didn’t stand a chance and looked like a deer in the headlights. Similar to what happened in her loss to Holly Holm, when Ronda got punched in the face her reaction was as if she had never experienced that. As it turns out, that could actually be true.
Before UFC 207 Ronda had vanished from the MMA world, she made sure to stay away from the spotlight after her devastating defeat in 2015.
But Rousey was said to have been training hard for her return, once she got inside the octagon people started questioning what had she been doing for the past year. Her game looked exactly the same as it did a year before, zero improvement to her stand up and just an inability to react after geting punched in the face. Julianna Pena recently claimed that Rousey made women sign waivers after sparring sessions, and if they didn’t they would sue them for a million dollars.
